Introduction to Ecopoetry - the genre of environmental poetry with Esther Vincent, author of Red Earth (2021)
About this event
In this workshop, participants will be introduced to ecopoetry, a relatively new genre of environmental poetry that seeks to uncover human-Earth relations. Participants will read and discuss a range of ecopoems, and consider how ecopoetry offers readers a way of inhabiting Earth with attention and care.
There may be an element of creative writing where participants will be asked to share their work, write their own poems and/or offer feedback to one other’s work.
