Talented Indonesian musicians Vanessa Shavonne & Kevin Yosua Trio is making a comeback to Eden Jazz Night!
Vanessa Shavonne is a gifted jazz vocalist originally from Indonesia and currently based in Singapore. Her musical influences are deeply rooted in the works of legendary artists like Ella Fitzgerald and Gregory Porter among others. Vanessa recently released her debut album, “But Beautiful” and was featured in Singapore's "King of Swing" Jeremy Monteiro's 50th album "Live Upon Nassim Hill".
The Kevin Yosua Trio is an acclaimed jazz ensemble led by bassist Kevin Yosua, featuring Hansen Arief on Drums and Rio Manuel on Piano. Known for their dynamic interplay and sophisticated interpretations, the trio blends the timeless language of jazz legends with a contemporary edge. In 2025, they won the prestigious New Lab Generation Jazz Competition in Switzerland and performed at the Festival da Jazz Swiss, solidifying their place among jazz’s rising stars.
(9 - 10PM) Yvette Atienza & Friends
Yvette Atienza is a powerhouse in Singapore’s Jazz and Latin Jazz scene, with her soulful voice and incredible versatility, going way back all the way since 1993. With 40 years of experience and a pioneer in Singapore's Jazz Vocal scene, she was the first to include scatting, vocalese and Latin jazz stylings in her performances. Aside from performing, Yvette is presently mentoring and coaching singing students to help them reach their musical dreams, preparing them for top music institutions like SOTA, La Salle and Berklee.
For this performance, she will be backed by an international cast of highly regarded jazz musicians - Arnold Pontoh on Piano (Indonesia), EJ Hughes on Saxophone (USA), Nobu Shiraishi on Bass (Japan) and Darryl Ervin on Drums (USA).
