Day 1 (Sat 13 Sep): Linework and Lettering Techniques
In this session, we will cover:- Running stitch- Back stitch- Split stitch- Stem stitch- Chain stitch
These are my top 5 techniques for creating line art and hand lettering projects. I will also demonstrate some tips, tricks and fun variations of the above that will help elevate your pieces!
Day 2 (Sun 14 Sep): Botanical Embroidery Elements
This session focuses on 5 advanced embroidery elements:- Detached chain stitch- French knot- Satin stitch- Fishbone stitch- Woven wheel stitch
These techniques can be combined to create beautiful botanical embroidery pieces, landscapes and portraits.
