Organised by <a href="https://www.simge.edu.sg/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">SIM Global Education</a> in conjunction with <a href="https://www.justcoglobal.com/sg/justco-campus-week-2021" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">JustCo Campus Week</a>.In this talk, Dr. Julian Lin is going to speak about Data Science and its related terminologies. He will describe how different stakeholders like statisticians view Data Science. He will also explain the relationship between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning, giving examples of some AI applications. Moreover, he will explore two (2) types of Machine Learning: Supervised and Unsupervised learning, explaining the differences between them, also giving examples of the two types of supervised learning. He will conclude the talk with quizzes and Q&amp;A.About SpeakerDr. Julian Lin is a Senior Lecturer with Singapore Institute of Management. Previously, he was a Senior Lecturer in Cybersecurity and Data Analytics with School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (SCALE) at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a dozen of other IT certifications including recent certifications in Azure Cloud and Power BI. Julian obtained a Ph.D. degree in Information Systems from NUS. He was a recipient of two scholarships from the Overseas Chinese Association in Taiwan while pursuing his Bachelor's degree and another scholarship while pursuing a Master's degree in Australia. During his IT consultancy career, he oversaw the application and infrastructure projects in Amoseas, Mannesmann Dematic Colby (Sydney), Alcatel (Sydney), and the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Faculty of Commerce and Economics.<h3>About JustCo Campus Week</h3>
