Our Guest of Honour, Mr Baey Yam Keng, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment & Ministry of Transport will flag off the rally together with EU Ambassador to Singapore Iwona Piórko.
Building on the inaugural 2018 EU-SG Cycling for Sustainability rally, the 2022 edition will:
1. Encourage the wider public to take part in climate action and adopt sustainable modes of transportation in the follow-up to COP27.
2. Communicate the objectives of Climate Diplomacy Week by increasing awareness of the European Green Deal and Team Europe Green Initiative.
