Prof. Georgios Halkias is a leading scholar of Tibetan and Himalayan Buddhism and the Director of the Centre of Buddhist Studies at the University of Hong Kong.
He has published widely on Buddhist philosophy, iconography, and meditation traditions, and has taught and supervised students around the world.

His work blends rigorous academic insight with deep sensitivity to lived Buddhist practice — making this lecture series accessible, enriching, and transformative for learners at all levels.
