What is Digital Mental Health?

It is the application of digital technologies in mental healthcare for many purposes, including mental health and wellbeing promotion and prevention, wellbeing maintenance or self-care or treating specific mental illnesses.

Experience a hands-on journey through digital mental health tools spanning AI therapy chatbots, brain function screeners, wearable devices, cognitive games and more. Explore five themed exhibition zones that address the mental health continuum, from everyday wellness to complex clinical needs and discover how digital solutions can support anxiety, depression, memory and attention.

Test out wearables and new health technology, engage with multimedia artworks and reflect on the ethical dimensions of mental health data and AI. Whether you’re curious about managing stress, supporting loved ones, or learning about new mental health interventions, this exhibition invites you to discover, interact and be inspired.

Where is the exhibition located?

The exhibition is located inside Alexandra Hospital, directly above the cafeteria. There is a sheltered path from the bus stop. The full address is 378 Alexandra Road, Block 29, Level 2, Singapore 159964. Follow the signs for the “D.S. Lee Foundation Mind Art Experiential Lab".

Is there an admission fee for the exhibition?

The exhibition is free to the public.

What are the opening hours?

MAELab is open Mon–Fri, 10am–5pm (closed 12–1pm, last entry 4pm). Walk-ins: 15 Jul–14 Aug. From 15 Aug, walk-ins only on Fridays. For other days, book at for.sg/maelabbooking at least two working days in advance.

Are there any parking facilities available near the exhibition venue?

Yes, there are parking and EV charging stations located at Blk 29.

Is the exhibition accessible for individuals with disabilities?

The art exhibition venue is wheelchair accessible, including an elevator to access level 2. However, the washroom located inside the exhibition is not wheelchair accessible. A wheelchair accessible washroom is available within the vicinity of the block where the exhibition is held.

Photography and videography are allowed inside the art exhibition for personal non-commercial use only.

Are you opened on Sunday and Public Holiday?

MAELab is closed on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday.
