IAF Singapore is a local chapter of the International Association of Facilitators (IAF) registered with the Singapore Registry of Societies.  The Chapter’s members are members of IAF who are residing in Singapore and have chosen Singapore as their local Chapter.  IAF Singapore is committed to promoting facilitation as a professional practice, educates on the power of facilitation to harness the greater potential of people to create social change in society, and supports a network of professional facilitators and practitioners in the field within Singapore.

You will experience first-hand how virtual and hybrid events can be engagingly delivered with the use of Miro to engage participants.

As facilitators, we are expected to ensure our participants feel comfortable and safe in our sessions so that they are able to contribute actively and meaningfully towards desired outcomes. However, while this is relatively easier to accomplish in face-to-face events, it is a lot harder to achieve in all-virtual or hybrid environments. After all, virtual participants are known to have a higher tendency to get distracted or disengaged.How then can you meet your client’s objectives and your facilitation goals in these challenging virtual meeting conditions? In this 90-min session, facilitators will experience first-hand how virtual and hybrid events can be engagingly delivered with the use of collaborative and interactive virtual platforms such as Miro. Key milestones of this event include:●	Discover how Miro, an online collaborative whiteboard platform, can transform your hybrid and virtual events, from passive to interactive●	Experience how psychological safety and trust are built in virtual events especially when introducing new technology tools●	Understand some of the key facilitation tips &amp; tricks to competently facilitate in virtual environments●	Find out from others of their own experiences with virtual events or ask your unanswered questions about facilitating hybrid or virtual events●	View live samples of how hybrid and virtual events (from small to large ones) were effectively and successfully facilitated using Miro.About Session Facilitator Isman Tanuri is Leadership &amp; People Development advisor &amp; facilitator, focused on enabling leaders with Facilitative Leadership and Business Agility competencies. He helps leaders acquire group and team facilitation skills so that they can develop others’ adaptability and growth mindset while sustainably improving effectiveness and maintaining business productivity. A Strathclyde MBA, Isman’s professional credentials include Official Miro Consultant &amp; Expert Partner, ICAgile Accredited Instructor, and Emergenetics Certified Associate. He is also a certified LEGO Serious Play designer and facilitator.To date, Isman has facilitated workshops and delivered learning experiences for various clients in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Monaco, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka and Thailand. More recently, Isman’s virtual experience design and facilitation work has extensively enabled people in globally- and regionally-distributed organisations, such as Amnesty International, Essilor and Google, to continue to collaborate, engage, learn and grow together during the pandemic.
