Parenting Talk:

Dr Wong will share tips on how parents can foster emotional intelligence (EQ), focusing on three key areas:

1. Equipping children to express emotions appropriately,

2. Recognising various emotions in children's expressions, and

3. Supporting children's emotional needs effectively.


Speaker: Dr Lily Wong

Dr. Wong presently serves as the Executive Director of Advent Link-SAUC Educational Center for Children and Family Studies in Singapore, concentrating on matters related to early childhood education. Her academic journey encompasses degrees attained at Southeast Asia Union College, Philippine Union College, and Andrews University, complemented by post-doctoral fellowships at Stanford University and Syracuse University. Demonstrating a profound dedication to her faith, she has crafted curricula for diverse educational initiatives, spanning diplomas and graduate diplomas in early childhood, as well as advanced certificates in childcare administration and management. Dr. Wong has extensively researched and contributed to family education programs within the Southeast Asia Union Mission, and she has conducted numerous training sessions and parenting talks in her specialized field.
