Farm Day Out: Natural Pigment Workshop by Mural Lingo
Event Information
About this Event
Our Natural Pigment Workshop teaches the use of natural pigments for artistic expression. Before synthetic colours, there were natural pigments made from food and other plants. Fruit and vegetable plant pigments have been around since the ancient times and are enjoying resurgence today as more and more of us try to filter out synthetic products and opt for greener alternatives.
Through our workshop, participants will learn various ways to make their own natural fruit and veggie pigments from ingredients such as berries, turmeric powder and more. The pigments will then be used to create various types of paints to fulfil your DIY artistic necessities in inexpensive and readily accessible methods.
Mural Lingo sessions will be held at the Wayang Outdoor Centrestage near the Greenhouses at the Farm area. In case of rain, the session will be moved indoors to level 2 Event Hall area.
Refund policy: full amount will be refunded in case the workshop is cancelled by the organizer. No refund will be provided in case of no show. If you wish to transfer your ticket, please contact hello@citysprouts.com.sg at least 3 days before the event.
