The Golden Concepts is an e-commerce store that curates eldercare products to enable ageing well. Established in 2011, The Golden Concepts was created to encourage positive ageing and to improve the experience that people have when looking for eldercare products. The company provides a specially curated selection from both international and local brands to increase the independence and safety of the elderly.

The idea behind the company first started when co-founders Vanessa and Chang Xi went to Denmark on a student exchange programme during their university days. They observed Danish seniors embracing ageing and living life to the fullest, while not being limited by mobility challenges. Upon returning to their own elderly grandparents, they wondered – why not bring home this positive, independent culture surrounding the golden years? In 2011, The Golden Concepts was set up in Singapore. Initially run from a home office, the company’s growth soon outgrew the space, and had recently made Crocodile House its new home ably supported by a passionate team.
