Managing blood sugar doesn’t have to be complicated or boring. “Eat Smart, Control Sugar – The Organic Way” introduces participants to simple, delicious, and diabetic-friendly recipes prepared with wholesome organic ingredients.
This in-person event will be held at FairPrice Finest Sembawang Shopping Centre, hosted by Chef Harry and Mr. Tai Seng Yee, Executive Director & Master of Organic Living, ZENXIN Organic.
The live cooking demos will showcase practical ways to prepare tasty meals that help regulate blood sugar naturally. Participants will enjoy samplings of the demo dishes, take-home recipes, and access special offers on featured organic products.
- Aubergine Platter - Baked aubergine served with colourful capsicums, onions, tahini sauce & sesame seeds.
- Quinoa & Spinach Salad with Pomegranate Dressing - A refreshing, fibre-rich salad with quinoa, spinach, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, beetroot, chickpeas, and a tangy pomegranate-based dressing.
- Mushroom Soup with Shredded Kombu - A comforting, low-GI soup combining dried mushrooms, almond milk, kombu, and soy sauce for a savoury, nourishing balance.

Event Terms & Conditions:
Ticketing & Admission: All tickets must be purchased via Eventbrite. Each ticket grants access to the event and includes a sampling of the featured products for the specific event.
Session Attendance: Attendees are encouraged to attend the specific session they registered for. Any change in schedule must be informed and arranged at least 3-working days in advance, and subject to slot availability. We are unable to accommodate changes or slot transfers in the event of a no-show or scheduling conflict.
Dress Code & Conduct: Smart casual attire is recommended. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone behaving inappropriately.
Return Voucher Usage: A return voucher of $10 will be issued at the end of the masterclass as part of the event experience. This voucher is only valid on the same day as the masterclass and is redeemable exclusively at the specific FairPrice Finest store. A minimum spend of $20 is required to use the voucher. Unused vouchers will not be refunded or carried forward.
Photography & Media: By attending the event, you consent to photography or video recordings which may be used for promotional purposes by the organiser.
Changes & Cancellation: The organiser reserves the right to modify the event details or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation, members will be notified and refunds will be issued as applicable.
Liability Waiver: By entering the event, attendees release the organiser and its partners from any liability for personal injury, loss, or damage incurred during the event.
