How far are we hiking?

For this Hike 5,

We will cover a total distance of approximately 28km, taking 6-7 hours from 0730hrs - 1430hrs, with a light brunch break in between.

What is the pace like?

We will be hiking at a conversational pace, covering approximately 4km per hour with plenty of photo opportunities!

Question 3

What do I need to bring along?

Accepted Answer

Please bring along your change of clothes, comfortable walking shoes, some snacks and drinks, and of course your fully charged mobile phone and cash/credit cards. Also bring along a Ziploc bag to waterproof your items in case of rain.

Sorry there isn't any bag drop services - so please travel light!

Are there any surprises?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We will be ending the hike with a "makan" aka eating session to replenish our energy. A special edition T-shirt will be available for purchase to mark our achievement during the final Graduation Hike at the end of 2 months.

How can I track my distance using GPS?

Join our ELXR Strava page - https://elxr.club/ELXRStrava. There is free GPS tracking, and we can consolidate our mileages and see how far we have hiked together.
