Fyi: This casual dinner event is a spin-off and a lighter version of our "Looks Matter (Sat, 21 Jun), 3:45pm" event (details at this link). While photo submission is still required, this 6:15pm event has a higher shortlisting rate of above 50%. Applicants of the 3:45pm event may also consider joining this 6:15pm session, subject to gender ratio and availability of seats.
Event description:
When it comes to making friends, everyone agrees that internal factors, such as personality, are crucial. However, for this niche event, we are also considering external factors, such as looks and charisma. This casual dinner meetup is for individuals who prefer a more focused, small-medium group session within a specific age range. Please take note of the following requirements:
i) Age range and status: 20s to 36, as of last birthday. Male applicants must be never-married and without marriage records in Singpass app.
ii) Personality: friendly, communicative, and sincere in knowing new friends.
iii) External factors: presentable-looking.
iv) Photo submission: please submit 2 recent and clear photos for shortlisting purposes unless you are certain i know your looks. The photos must be without masks, sunglasses, headgear, and not a side view. Do not provide fake, AI or digitally enhanced photos, as those who look different from their photos will be turned away during the event without a refund.
v) The shortlisting rate will be above 50%. Note that it cannot be 100%. If not being shortlisted might upset you, affect your self-esteem, or cause dissatisfaction with organiser, it may be better not to apply.
vi) Application process: you may apply via Eventbrite and then email/Whatsapp your 2 photos to Lim.Jerald@gmail.com or 90170885. Alternatively, you may apply via our website here, which has the function for you to attached photos.
vii) Individual applications: it is recommended to apply individually rather than with friends to avoid awkwardness if only one of you gets shortlisted.
viii) Notification: shortlisted applicants will be notified via email and SMS within three days. If you do not receive a notification, it means you were not shortlisted. Our sincere apologies to those who are not selected, but no reasons will be provided.
ix) Verification: during attendance-taking, organiser will conduct quick checks on the full Nric number of everyone's Singpass app to ensure that participants are within the age range.
x) During the event, a Choice List will be issued for participants to choose up to half of the opposite gender that they wish to know better or to build connections. Results will be compiled based on mutual matches and privately made known to respective participants in a few days via email.
** You must bring your Singpass mobile app to the event for quick verification that your marital status is Single (open the mobile app > View all > Family > Marital status). Otherwise, you will be turned away, without any refund. As a genuine organiser, we put in reasonable effort to check that attendees are Single.
Venue: a restaurant in town. It may not be Halal. Details will only be provided to those confirmed.
Meet-up time: 6:15pm. Session is until around 8:30pm.
Cost: $5+ for ladies. $20+ for guys. These are admin fees only. Require prepayment of this admin fee. Dinner will be at own expense, with minimum spending from $15. Must order at least a main dish. It won't be an expensive restaurant.
