About this event

From Awareness to Action: Disability Inclusion in the Workplace is a one-day interactive workshop designed to equip employers, managers, HR professionals, and executives across all roles, with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to create inclusive workplaces for persons with disabilities and their colleagues. This workshop focuses on practical strategies and meaningful engagement to promote a positive and supportive environment for persons with disabilities and their co-workers.

Participants will explore key concepts such as understanding the different types of disabilities in Singapore’s context, basic etiquette in interacting with persons with disabilities, and providing accommodation and support in the workplace for persons with disabilities. Through real-world case studies, group activities, and open discussions, attendees will gain valuable insights into the opportunities and business value of working alongside persons with disabilities.

Ultimately, this workshop aims to break down barriers, dispel myths, and encourage a mindset shift that celebrates the unique strengths and contributions of persons with disabilities. Together, we can create a workplace where everyone can thrive and succeed.
