Hi there,
I’m Charlotte and I'm a functional breathwork coach - which basically means I help people breathe more deeply, more easily and more often. It's a pretty great job 😉
I’m starting a weekly breathwork session in the park, to connect with other people and to show you how much there is to learn about your breath, and how useful it can be in daily life. I’m not talking about anything spiritual or trauma-related. I’m talking about practical, simple tools to help you navigate work, pressure, tricky conversations, overthinking, tiredness — you know, all the day-to-day stuff.
Intrigued? Okay, here's what we're going to do:
We’ll start by practicing what I call “the perfect breath.” It’s a gentle breathing pattern that supports your nervous system, improves oxygen delivery to your brain and body, and helps you breathe more freely throughout the day. I’ll give you small, simple cues you can take with you into everyday life.
Then I’ll teach you the shortest, simplest breath reset I know. It takes about 30 seconds, and you can use it anywhere. No need to lie down, close your eyes, or use an app. It’s a go-to reset you can use in the middle of a workday, while walking, or even in conversation.
We'll meet on Friday, August 8, at 8 am in Jardim da Estrela. Once you register for the event, I'll send you the exact location closer to date.
What to bring? A mat, a blanket or a pillow. Just anything that will allow you to sit or lie down comfortably.
P.S. The ambition is to do this weekly so if you can't make this date, session #2 is on Friday, August 15. Every session will cover different techniques.

Nope. This session is for everyone, especially if you’re new to breathwork.
No, this is meant to be down-regulating and functional breathing. In this session, there will be no hyperventilation, no breathholds, nothing too activating or stimulating. This is going to be accessible to everyone and anyone.
Anything comfortable. It's not an exercise class but any activewear or loose clothes are perfect.
In most cases, yes, especially since this is a light and gentle session. If you’re unsure, let me know.
Completely up to you. I typically start with sitting but whenever you feel like you want to, you're more than welcome to lie down.
