About the Future Redevelopment of Sembawang Shipyard Workshop
As operation in the Sembawang Shipyard wind down in 2028, the area is set for transformation into a mixed-use waterfront lifestyle district with rich and unique maritime character. What features, spaces, or activities would make Sembawang Shipyard the perfect place to live, work, and play? How can we transform Sembawang Shipyard’s maritime structure into meaningful spaces that inspire and connect the community?
To guide this transformation and collect ideas/feedback, Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) will be hosting a Draft Master Plan 2025 (DMP25) public engagement workshop on the Future Redevelopment of Sembawang Shipyard district.
