Gamedev Jalan is a community day for Singapore game developers, organised by Game Dev Guild SG in collaboration with SGGA. It is a casual afternoon to come jalan-jalan, connect with the local scene, and see what everyone has been building. Whether you are here to learn something new, meet fellow developers, or just soak in the local gamedev atmosphere, there is something here for you.

Speaker Talks (from 1 PM)

The afternoon kicks off with the Speaker Talks. Short sessions from practitioners in the local scene, covering everything from production deep dives to personal stories about paths taken in and around the industry. You do not need to be a professional to get value from these. If you are a hobbyist, a student, or someone just starting to explore game development, the talks are a great way to learn from people who have been in the trenches and are happy to share what they know.

Indie Showcase (from 3 PM)

From 3 PM, the Indie Showcase opens up. Local developers bring whatever they have been working on, whether that is a rough prototype or something almost ready to ship. Games from any genre and any platform are welcome. Walk up, try something out, and talk to the person who made it.

You do not need to be a developer to join. If you are a casual gamer, a hobbyist, or just looking for something fun to do on a weekend afternoon, you are very welcome here. If you have ever been curious about the local game dev scene but did not know where to start, this is a pretty easy way in.

About the Organisers

Game Dev Guild SG is a community for indie developers and aspiring creators in Singapore. We run monthly coworking sessions, workshops, and events to help people learn, get feedback, and finish the things they are making.

SGGA is a trade association supporting Singapore-based gaming companies, creators, publishers, and investors. Registered with the Singapore Registry of Societies, SGGA works to strengthen the foundations of Singapore's games ecosystem through advocacy, networking, and industry development.

Gamedev Jalan is a chance for the community to come together, share knowledge, and grow the scene we are all part of.
