Mensa Singapore and the Irish Graduates Association of Singapore present our Annual Geek Quiz!

Join us for a fun afternoon of Trivia and Geek Pride!


Once again Mensa Singapore and the Irish Graduates Association of Singapore have teamed up to organise the popular geek quiz to celebrate Geek Pride.

Geek Pride Day falls on 25 May every year. Our event is held on 24 May, the first weekend of Geek Pride Day.

With Radio DJ Shan Wee as our Quizmaster, you are guaranteed to have a memorable night of fun geeky trivia. Be prepared for questions about superheroes, supervillains and pop culture.

Remember to Dress Up, either in costume or in your favourite fandom t-shirt. There will be prizes for the best-dressed.


PRIZES

There will be FREE PIZZA and a special DOOR GIFT for every attendee.

CASH PRIZES will be awarded to the top 3 quiz teams.

Turn up in your geekiest costume or your favourite fandom t-shirt! The BEST-DRESSED participants will win prizes.

There will also be a LUCKY DRAW.


QUIZ TEAMS

Each team shall consist of 4-6 members.

If you do not have a team, don't worry! Email us at geekquiz.sg@gmail.com and we will find you a team!


EVENT

Registration starts at 6.30 PM. Please arrive on time to choose your doorgifts.

Tickets are $15 per person.

Parking is available at 30 Prinsep Street Car Park (near the lobby of Rendezvous Hotel). Additional parking spaces are available at Parklane, GRiD, SOTA and Rendezvous Hotel.


If you're coming by MRT, the nearest station is the Bencoolen MRT Station.


If you're coming by taxi, the drop-off point is at the lobby of Hotel Rendezvous, off Prinsep Street. The cafe is a short 2-minute walk (approx. 100m) from the hotel lobby.

The Irish Graduates Association of Singapore (IGAS) is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 1980. We have two categories of membership: a) Ordinary Member: Any person who possesses a degree or diploma from an approved institution of tertiary education in Ireland, north and south. b) Associate Member: Any person with a connection to Ireland or an interest in Ireland. IGAS is unique among the Irish societies in Singapore for its broad international base, particularly Singaporean and Malaysian members who studied in Dublin and Belfast.
