GENflick – The Creative AI Microfilm Challenge invites students, creators, and aspiring filmmakers to explore the future of storytelling powered by AI.

The journey begins on 7 November with the launch event, where participants receive a story theme and creative diversifier to kickstart their 48-hour challenge. Teams then have the weekend to create a 90s–2min microfilm using AI tools, with optional access to the Challenge Space and expert guidance on Day 1.

Leading up to the challenge, participants can attend free webinars and SkillsFuture-eligible short courses to gain practical skills in AI storytelling and filmmaking.

Prizes include cash awards, trophies, internships with Mediacorp, and opportunities for mentoring and industry exposure supported by Adobe, Alibaba, Google, and Mediacorp.
