🐦Bevy Engine Workshop – First Ever in Malaysia! 🇲🇾
Join us for the first-ever Bevy engine workshop in Malaysia! Whether you're a beginner or experienced developer, this hands-on session is the perfect opportunity to dive into the world of Bevy – a modern, data-driven game engine built in Rust.
Bevy is not just an engine for making games, in fact, you can use Bevy to develop any application that you want, from websites, to games, to native apps, to embedded systems! Bevy's data-oriented Entity-Component-System (ECS) makes creating any project simple, extremely scalable, and performant (systems run in parallel by default!).
Some recommended (please go through them, defo begging you...) resources:
- Install Rust - Rust Programming Language (A must!)
- Official Introduction to Bevy (Highly recommended!)
- What is an ECS? feat. Bevy and Rust (Entity-Component-System, a core concept in Bevy, explained in a video by Chris Biscardi)
- Game Engine Of The Future - YouTube (A very fun and nice introduction to the Bevy engine by TanTan! Definitely not trying to convince you to switch over to Bevy for your future projects hahaha)
- Bevy Playground (Try Bevy on your browser now!!!! Highly recommended!)
Watch number 4 first, if you are still hesitating 🤣
