About the Speakers

Cassandra Maria Rudge is an award-winning filmmaker who gained recognition with the short film 'Not Fair', inspired by her experiences with colourism. She is the co-founder of FoundFilms, a production company. Following the success of 'Not Fair', she created another short film titled 'Lockdown' and was commissioned to write and produce the web series version of 'Not Fair', funded by MCCY. Currently, she serves as a co-organizer of the (+65) Film Project with the Singapore Film Society, aiming to elevate the Singaporean film industry to global standards. An advocate against colourism, she promotes equal representation of all skin tones in media. Her overarching goal is to achieve global recognition for her storytelling on topics close to her heart.

Shivani Desai, CEO of Shivani Desai Coaching, revolutionises actor business coaching with a balanced approach to creative success and is a fervent advocate for diversity and representation in media.
