This masterclass by Professor Helen Nicholson will use the image of a falling statue of a slave owner in Bristol UK – pulled down by a crowd in summer 2020 – as a starting point.

It will explore the ways in which the streets reflect and shape young people’s experiences of the world, and how they see themselves. This workshop will explore a range of dramatic ways to put young people at the center of decisions about how they see and shape their environments.
