About this event

We are undergoing a tectonic shift of an unprecedented nature. The effects of this change, as most experts have pointed out, have been to accelerate digital adoption and an evolutionary shift in buying patterns around the world. Such an unprecedented change has rarely been documented since the first industrial revolution, and never at this scale and speed.

In such turbulent times, uncertainty and panic at times start shaping the discussion and decision-making. In order to cut through the clutter and bring light to things as they are and as they will probably shape out to be, INSEAD TMT Club is organising a series of discussions with experts from various fields to explore the first, second and third order effects of the crisis on different areas of business.

In the first of the series, Shayak Mazumder, CEO and Founder of Eunimart (www.eunimart.com), an AI powered cross-border ecommerce, omnichannel and supply chain solutions company, speaks to Arun Mambully, Vice President, Head of Product, Operations and IT, Managing Director, Singapore, DHL eCommerce Solutions Asia Pacific, and will explore the following broad topics:

  1. Impact on supply chain for e-commerce, healthcare and retail. How is this changing? What are the first order effects we can see? What are the second and third order effects we can predict will happen?
  2. What are the technological innovations in supply chain that will drive operational efficiency in e-commerce, retail and healthcare? Will these innovations in supply chain make global trade easier?
  3. On a more macro level, do we foresee the impact of some supply moving out of China? What does this mean for suppliers from other geographies?
