Anadigi Sound Lab

This is an experimental music-making workshop for ANYONE interested.

This is an experimental music-making workshop where youths will compose a piece of music using creative visual scoring techniques and electronic effect pedals. In the first half of the workshop, participants will expand their creative capabilities by creating, interpreting and performing visual scores, which are an alternate form of musical scores that use visual symbols, lines and colour to represent musical gestures. In the other half of the workshop, the participants will be introduced to electroacoustic techniques - they will run their instruments through electronic effect pedals that will augment the instrument’s sound into strange, new textures. Finally, in groups, they will apply all the skills taught to them by composing, developing and performing an original piece of electroacoustic music.
