GrooveTop is a multi-genre pop-up party series based in Singapore that brings a diverse crowd together through the love of music, great drinks and a damn good time. At the heart of GrooveTop is the desire to create a sense of community, centred around our shared love for the dance floor. Our music philosophy is - as long as it’s funky and it’s got soul - we want to play it. The music at GrooveTop parties range from Funk, Soul, R&B, Hip Hop, Afro, UKG and Disco to House and everything in between. Each event is carefully curated - from the music direction, the DJs, to the venue, menu and overall experience. Depending on the party, the focus of the night can change, keeping things fresh and a little different every time.

Based in Singapore, we throw genre blending parties that move from house and hip-hop to South Asian rhythms and cutting-edge techno always in spaces that match the energy of the crowd. RAAJ, formerly known as Joshua P, has been a prominent figure and driving force in Singapore's local and cultural scene. With over 20 years of experience in DJing, he has left a significant mark on the Southeast Asian music scene. Drawing from his Tamil roots, RAAJ strives to showcase his culture to the masses while maintaining a deep connection to his heritage. In addition to multiple residencies at some of Singapore’s iconic venues, RAAJ frequently headlines local parties, consistently pushing the boundaries of music and culture. His eclectic sets blend genres such as funk, soul, house, bass, garage, afro, and Tamil and South Indian hits, creating a unique and vibrant experience for his audience.
