Singapore’s Largest Student-led Startathon is back!
Ideate and present your groundbreaking ideas for a chance at our $10,000 prize pool.
Ground Zero 2024 will commence from the 11th to 17th May 2024, and will be held at various hotspot venues like Mapletree Business City, Metacamp and NCS Hub. Stand to gain never-before-seen firsthand guidance from seasoned experts in the startup scene: startup founders, CEOs, VCs, angel investors, and industry experts.
Aside from that, all competitors are entitled to participate in fireside chats, masterclass workshops, networking sessions as well as panel discussions.

Apart from competing for first place, we're here to nurture you into becoming veteran players. In Ground Zero, you'll get insider information on how the startup scene actually works and how you can properly navigate your way through it.
We've broken down our program into 3 key phases:
1. Phase Zero
Gain access to all 4 exclusive masterclass content held by acclaimed and renowned industry names to hone your entrepreneurial skills.
2. Ground Zero
Apply the knowledge you've learned and compete among the masses. You'll be guided by expert mentors during each step of the way so that you can realise your fullest potential.

3. Beyond Zero
Build your network with the people you've met along the way. Your entrepreneurial journey has only just begun; strong connections can bring you far. Frequently asked questions
Ground Zero 2024 costs $17 per person, but we are offering a limited early bird ticket at only $10 per person. There are also further discounts when you signup as a group!
Each team can have 3 to 5 members.
Fret not! You can sign up individually and our program includes an open mic pitching session for individual participants to find their team or even future co-founder.
Yes, all ideas presented must be in line with one of the four industry focus areas. Furthermore, they must also align with the problem statement that will be released during the main event itself.
"First place: $4,000 Second place: $3,000 Third place: $2,000. To recognize the efforts of other participating teams, we would also present awards for special categories with sponsored products and merchandise.
No experience is needed! We encourage all aspiring entrepreneurs from all tertiary institutions and faculties to join us at this event.
Any student currently enrolled at a tertiary institution, be it part-time or full-time. Tertiary institutions include, but are not limited to ITEs, Polytechnics, Universities (both undergraduate and postgraduate). We also allow recent alumni of 5 years or less, but please limit the number of alumni
Yes! We’re open to students from any institution overseas.
Ground Zero will consist of 2 physical days, Day 1 (May 11) and Day 7 (May 17). Full attendance is recommended for the complete experience, but we acknowledge that team members may have external commitments. Therefore, at least 2 members of the team must be present throughout the event!
