About the Guided tour of Lively Places Fund - Buona Vista Green Eye View
To spark interest in gardening within their community, more than 60 residents transformed the multi-storey carpark rooftop garden at 7B Commonwealth Avenue into a photo-worthy gardening hub. The team gathered over two months to break the current record in Singapore’s Book of Records and create Singapore’s largest rooftop art display, which took inspiration from the neighbourhood’s Hakka heritage. The resulting artwork provided visual interest and relief for residents living in the neighbouring blocks as opposed to the original surface of the carpark. Additionally, the adjacent void deck was revamped with eye-catching signages and artwork to direct residents to the rooftop garden. Equipped with a projector and permanent seating, it can now accommodate regular workshops for residents beyond gardening.

- Participation in this activity is entirely voluntary. Participants should be aware that this activity may carry risks of injury and/or damage to my property. I agree not to hold the Urban Redevelopment Authority and HDB responsible and to indemnify the Urban Redevelopment Authority from and against any such action and/or liability that I or a third party may suffer as a result of my own actions or negligence. If my child or ward is participating in this activity and is below 18 years old, I agree to the above on his/her behalf.
- For safety reasons, outdoor tours might be cancelled in the event of inclement weather such as thunderstorms. We agree and accept that the Urban Redevelopment Authority and HDB shall not be held liable for any form of compensation or refund whatsoever arising out of the cancellation of the outdoor tour(s), unless otherwise stated.
- In the event participants are unable to attend the above-mentioned workshop/tour, we agree and accept that no refund for the workshop fee/tour fee shall be made.
