Half-Day Course: Overcoming Anger & Frustration

Sun, 11 Jan | 10am – 1pm

with Buddhist Teacher, Elaine

Anger can take many forms, from mild irritation to rage, but it is always painful and destructive. Anger is our worst enemy. It makes us do irrational things, lose our self-control and common sense. It makes us look and sound unattractive and scary to others, it causes physical and emotional hurt to both ourself and others, and it also causes sometimes irreparable damage to our relationships with others... Yet we often feel we can't do without it.

During this half-day course we will take a journey into Buddha's special methods for overcoming the painful mind of anger and how to respond more effectively to the difficult situations that life can sometimes bring.

During this course we will learn:

  • How to identify the root causes of anger
  • Practical methods on how to overcome our anger, irritations, and the associated pain that comes with it
  • Practical meditations that we can use to can help us gain peace in our life

This course will include:

  • Guided Meditations: Learn calming and transformative meditations that help subdue mental agitation and cultivate inner clarity and strength
  • Practical Teachings: Learn accessible advice that helps us to maintain a peaceful mind and a positive outlook amidst the challenges of modern daily life
  • Question & Answer: Have your questions answered to ensure that you walk away from the course knowing how to apply what you've learnt with confidence

Everybody is welcome to attend, and there is no need for any previous experience of meditation.
