About the Event

Have Fun, Raise Funds is a community-driven event organised by Zhuang Yong and Tracey Goh, inspired by the theme “Children Is Our Future.”

The event invites families to come together for a day of fun-filled activities, learning, and giving back. While children enjoy games and creative play, parents can discover meaningful ways to invest in and protect their children’s future — physically, emotionally, and financially. The carnival will feature: Game booths, Info Booths, and Food & Drinks.

This initiative supports the vision outlined in Singapore’s Forward SG Report, particularly the key pillar: “Give Every Child a Good Start.” Forward SG calls on every member of society — not just the government — to play an active role in shaping our children’s futures by nurturing their life skills, curiosity, and joy of learning. Have Fun, Raise Funds answers that call by creating a platform where families can learn through play, connect with the community, and reflect on holistic child development beyond academics.

Charity Focus
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Singapore Children’s Society, whose mission aligns deeply with the event’s purpose — to meet the evolving needs of children and families in Singapore.

By raising funds for this trusted charity, we aim to empower more children to thrive, ensuring that every contribution made at the event directly supports programmes that nurture resilience, well- being, and opportunity.

Venue Significance
The event will be held at the Kheng Chiu Building, home to the Kheng Chiu Tin Hou Kong Temple and Singapore Hainan Hwee Kuan.

As proud members of the Qionghai Hainanese community, organisers Zhuang Yong and Tracey Goh selected this venue to celebrate not only heritage but also the importance of community roots in shaping future generations. The setting reflects the spirit of togetherness, cultural pride, and giving that defines the event.
