Hello World!
Two reimagined worlds devised by Year 3 students from the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Performance Making programme.
Hello World! is a double-bill showcase, utilising interdisciplinary research and practice, presented in two versions of an imagined future.
From the fabric-choked shores of a repurposed Sentosa to the sterile oxygen-rationed domes of a Martian colony, these two stories intersect at the heart of the human struggle for freedom, autonomy, connection, and the inherent right to exist in the face of crisis and uncertainty. Hello World! is a greeting, a plea, a call for attention and change. It questions: If the world reboots tomorrow, would you have the courage to dream up a different reality despite adversity and resistance?
Advisory: Contains strong language. Recommended for mature audiences. Please note: This performance contains strobe lighting, flashing lights, and intense visual effects.
