Mr. Thienprasit Chaiyapatranun serves as President of the Thai Hotels Association and Managing Director of Grand Diamond Suites Hotel and The Patra Hotel – Rama 9. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Silpakorn University, an MBA from Western Michigan University, and is an alumnus of the National Defence College, Class 59. With over three decades of leadership in hospitality, he has been a key driver in advancing industry standards and policies. His contributions include serving on the subcommittee for drafting hotel building and safety regulations with the Department of Public Works (2020–2023), as well as working with the Ministry of Public Health to set hotel standards for state quarantine during the pandemic. He has also held roles with the Thai Construction Industry Association and Krungthep Kreeta Golf Club. A long-standing member of the Thai Hotels Association since 2008, he previously served as Vice President (2020–2024) before assuming his current presidency.
