Synopsis:

We can easily find and use images, videos and text on the internet in our assignments and projects. However, if we are not careful about how we use them, we can end up breaking copyright laws. We may also be accused of plagiarism - taking credit for others’ works and passing them off as our own.

In this talk, we will discuss how to avoid infringing copyright and plagiarism. We will explore some websites which offer content that is safe to use. We will also try out some web apps to help us create acknowledgements, for the works that we want to use.
