About the Programme/Event
With smart phones, social media and powerful algorithms designed to get us hooked on our screens, it is easy to get sucked into a digital black hole. In Cal Newport's book Digital Minimalism, he introduces a philosophy of using technology intentionally. But with digitalisation being an unavoidable aspect of modern living, how does one put this philosophy into practice? Join Joan Chong, Founder of Minimalism in Singapore as she gives helpful tips on how you can be a minimalist in the digital age.
About the Speakers
Joan Chong started Minimalism In Singapore in 2017 with the purpose of bringing like-minded Singaporeans to embrace a simpler way of living that cuts through the noise of consumerism. Focused on living deeply, she spends her leisure time blogging, with loved ones and volunteering.
