However, there are many therapists out there and it's difficult making a decision. Some of you may have even taken a leap of faith to see a therapist, felt judged by them and stopped returning.This is yet another decision to make and it mirrors all the other decisions you have to make in your life. About Magdalen Cheng

Ms. Magdalen Cheng is a UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and APACS (Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors Singapore) registered psychotherapist and is currently a doctoral candidate in London. She runs her own private practice at Encompassing Therapy and Counselling. Her specialty lies in existential psychotherapy and counselling and specializes in supporting clients who are going through transitions in life. Ms. Cheng has been running experiential workshops – with a main focus on existential psychology in different contexts, such as mental health and social work settings and organisations.

About the organizer

Encompassing Therapy and Counselling is a Singapore based private practice specializing in working with clients going through life transitions and existential crisis. We uphold the belief that mental health is not just for those who feel helpless. It is for anyone experiencing problems and concerns in their daily life. That is all of us.

In addition to individual and group therapy, we also provide experiential trainings and workshops with an existential-phenomenological underpinning to healthcare providers interested in their personal and professional development. Our vision is to spread awareness of existential practice in Asia and build a society where persons experience authentic care and decision making for themselves and others and in turn transform their fields and communities.
