Meet the Speakers 

Judith has been at the forefront of the culture change movement in technology and entertainment – with a deep focus on analytics and strategies to identify and disrupt bias in social systems and corporate culture.

She joined SAP in September 2018 as Head of People Sustainability and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer leading both diversity and inclusion and business health programs at SAP.

Previously, she ran an organization which consults with start-ups, venture capitalists, and accelerators on embedding diversity and inclusion into the foundations of their organizational cultures.

Judith has also been instrumental in the development of the ReFrame Project, a partnership between the Sundance Institute and Women and Film. The project addresses systemic barriers in the Hollywood ecosystem, and encourages gender parity at every level in film, TV and media.

Prior to that as Global Head of Diversity for Dropbox, Judith was responsible for all diversity and inclusion programs, as well as corporate social responsibility. Her efforts increased the pipeline of women and underrepresented minorities at Dropbox, creating a more inclusive corporate culture and forming deeper ties into the communities where the company operates.

In addition, Judith was the Diversity Programs Manager at Google where she directed the unconscious bias work stream, and built strategies for recruiting, retention, and advancement of the company’s technical employees. She was instrumental in implementing Google’s widely praised unconscious bias training program which was the first to call out hidden prejudices as a major contributor to the systemic lack of diversity in the tech industry.

In a word, Jodi Brockington is a connector! Jodi is an experienced consultant who has represented, coached and advised thousands of leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals helping them launch, manage and develop their business.

Her management consulting background and strong analytical skills have placed her at the forefront of defining strategies and innovative solutions for non-profit organizations and Fortune 500 companies in enhancing their diversity and inclusion and corporate social responsibility practices. As an entrepreneur, she has guided non-profits, companies and business leaders to acquire financial and human capital to improve their bottom line.

In addition, Jodi is responsible for developing a pipeline of diverse talent and acquire the most qualified candidates as the Director of Diversity & Inclusion Sourcing for the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), the premier post-trade market infrastructure for the global financial services industry. From operating facilities and data centers around the world, DTCC automates, centralizes, and standardizes the processing of financial transactions across the trade lifecycle and mitigates risk for thousands of institutions worldwide.

Previously, she was the director of fund development and corporate relations for the New York Urban League and the founding president of New York Urban League Young Professionals. Since 2012, Brockington has produced and hosted the National Urban League Jobs Network’s Digital Career Success Series.

Brockington is one of New York's top lifestyle coaches and fitness experts. She owns NIARA Consulting, a full-service company that provides complete consulting services for individuals, nonprofits, small businesses, and corporations.

Betty Ng is the founder and CEO of Inspiring Diversity, LLC (“iD”), which provides practical solutions for building inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing culture to organizations, families, and schools. Betty is a #1 bestselling author, tech and media entrepreneur, trainer, professional speaker, consultant, and thought leader. She co-authored “PO-LING POWER: Propelling Yourself and Others to Success” with her mother (Po-Ling).

She and her children have also launched the bestselling and award winning Persevering Penguins and Pals children’s book series, to serve as guidance tools for social emotional learning grounded in diversity and inclusion.
