•          Understanding the nature of the market.

Market, as a simple rationing mechanism between buyers and sellers will be discussed. The key characteristics of market - un-limitedness, unstructured, and uncertain nature of the market environment will also be shared.

•         The golden principles of trading.

The 3 principles of good understanding of the market, a sound trading methodology and timely signal will be discussed.

•          Modes of market action.

To the inexperienced trader, a market moves in an unclassified manner.  Market moves can be classified in trending, ranging and breakout modes.  Simple strategy will be discussed to quantify the mode of market action.

•         Elements of good trading

The 2 key elements of trading - sound plan and self-discipline to consistently use it is explored.  Understanding them is simple but realising that it is important is difficult.  A simple game will be used to help to audience to appreciate their importance.

•         Approaches to trading in short and medium terms.

Position and various forms of short-term swing trading concepts will be discussed.

•         Enhance trading through System Trading

Successful trading is counter-intuitive.  The use of System Trading will help to address some issues related to discretionary trading which is often adopted by novice traders.

Mr Ee Chee Koon – Chief Trainer, Asia Charts Pte Ltd

A full-time active trader in the equities and derivatives markets, CK is a practitioner of technical analysis and has been actively trading since 1993 in the Singapore, Malaysia and US markets. He focuses on trading growth stocks that have potential for big gains and using derivative instruments like options and warrants for better returns. CK is also an active trader in the forex and futures markets. 

In his 20 years of trading experience, CK has developed dozens of trading systems and methods for medium and short term (both swing and intra-day) trading. CK is a widely-recognised analyst and trainer in technical analysis and is regularly featured in seminars and talks. CK holds a bachelor degree of Science from University of London and Master of Science from National University of Singapore. He is also a certified behaviour consultant, who has keen interest in area of trading psychology.
