In addition, Singapore is the 4th largest international financial center in the world, and about 1/3 of the world's top 500 companies have their Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore.

It is very convenient travel to Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia from Singapore, which is equivalent to traveling between different cities in China. In the eyes of many corporate decision-makers, Singapore is the bridgehead to the entire Southeast Asian market.

In Doing Business 2014 report, the World Bank ranked Singapore second for its low tax rate and efficient tax filing process. The Singapore corporate tax rate is a flat rate of 17% based on taxable income. From 2020, eligible companies will enjoy a 75% tax exemption on their first S 100,000 net profit.

在《2014年营商环境报告》（Doing Business 2014）中，世界银行（World Bank）以较低的税率和高效的报税程序将新加坡排在第二位。新加坡公司税率为17%的统一税率，以应课税收入为基准。自2020年起，符合资格条件的公司可享有首10万新币净利润的75%免税。
