Why isn't this event free? Why do you charge a fee?

We levy a small fee to buy you a 1st drink from our venue provider (cafe) as they have kindly reserved a section for us. A small fee also discourages people who are not serious from signing up and taking up a seat from those who want to further their HR knowledge and network.
