About this event
Founded in 1968, the International Baccalaureate (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation offering four highly respected programmes of international education that develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills needed to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. The IB has a hard-earned reputation for high standards of teaching, pedagogical leadership and student achievement. As of 2020, there were 7,232 programmes being offered worldwide, across 5,402 schools in 158 countries.
We provide a continuum of education consisting of 4 programmes for students aged 3 to 19 i.e. Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, Diploma Programme and Career-related Programme. The programmes encourage both personal and academic achievement, challenging students to excel in their studies and their personal development.
In February 2021, we will be holding an eSeminar specifically designed for Asia Pacific school leaders with a focus on operating an IB World School. We are aiming to bring together school leaders who are planning for an innovative change by offering high-quality programmes of IB education at their current or future schools. Sessions will be led by experts and practitioners with vast experience in managing an IB World School.
