About this event

In a world overflowing with content, what are we truly archiving—and why does it matter?

Moderated by Eugene Tay, Festival Director of the Strange Strange Festival (SSF), the face behind SUPERNATURAL CONFESSIONS (Youtube Channel), this compelling panel unpacks the urgency of cultural preservation. Why do we capture certain stories and let others slip into silence? What’s the cost of forgetting? What happens when representation is left to chance?

Saleem Hadi, founder of THEINDBOX.SG—Singapore’s only Indian short film archive—shares his journey of safeguarding stories since 2018. “Films. Voices. Heritage.” isn’t just a tagline. It’s a quiet rebellion.

Two mystery panelists will be revealed on the day, bringing bold, personal takes on identity, memory, and the creative choices we make that define history.

This panel invites you to reflect on what we keep, what we erase—and what it says about us.
