About Our Panelists:

1. Andy Wee, GM @ IES-INCA

With a strong engineering background, having spent 13 years in Hewlett Packard in Product Design R&D, Andy has a keen interest in making technology work to create better life for everyone. In 2014, Andy took time off to pursue a Masters in Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation at NTU's Nanyang Technopreneurship Centre, achieving a Director's List award for outstanding performance.

2. Mun Siong Yoong, Founder and CEO @ Vallaris

Siong Yoong is a CEO, entrepreneur and venture capitalist with almost three decades of experience. He helps 8 figure entrepreneurs buy and sell businesses, which he runs through one of his firms called VALLARIS.

3. Dr Neo Kok Beng, NMP, Founder and CEO @ NEO Aeronautics

Dr. Neo Kok Beng is an award-winning engineer, educator & entrepreneur specialized in technological innovations and commercialisation. Amongst his accolades include the Presidents’ Design Award, Prime Minister Community Service Award, USA Veterans’ Affairs Innovation Initiative Award, Global Entrepreneurship Winner, Harvard Kennedy School Service Award & NUS Innovation & Enterprise Awards.

4. Tay Boon Keat, RIE & Partnership Development Director @ Temasek Polytechnic

Boon Keat is currently Director of the RIE & Partnership Development as well as the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Department at Temasek Polytechnic. As veteran in the Education and the Technology space, he oversees the commercialisation of new technologies developed by the staff of TP and engages industry for the Tech Licensing activities.

5. Remi Choong, Partner @ Elev8.vc

Remi started his first business at 15 years old, selling custom-built PCs to friends in school. Since then, he founded two other companies before kickstarting his venture capital career at a prestigious sovereign VC fund.

As one of the most experienced deep-tech investors in the region, Remi has personally closed deep-tech deals across technology verticals such as quantum computing, air mobility, space-tech, biotech, and autonomous vehicles. A number of these companies have made successful exits through the years.

Remi believes in grooming a generation of deep-tech investors that will "change our universe", while helping deep-tech founders realise their dreams by investing in both their companies and their personal success.

6. Wee Boon Siong, Founder & CEO @ aeterni.co

Boon Siong is an IMCS Registered Management Consultant with over 25 years of experience in various industries including government, financial services, info-comm and sustainability, and holding different responsibilities from research to user operations and vendor service providers. He joined the sustainability movement in 2017 as he felt that it was important so that everyone could continue to co-exist in this ever-shrinking world.

He is currently the CEO of Aeterni.eco, a green consulting company specialising in sustainability strategy including reporting, carbon footprint for corporates, products and services and green finance. Aeterni.eco also provides training for corporates and public in these areas. He has been involved in various projects for entities like MAS, SGX, DBS, UOB, ICICI, PSA, SingPost, Philips, Sentosa, etc.
