About this event

Trees as symbols and metaphors of the relationship between man and nature. The tree as a metaphor for a daily reconnection with the living, an invitation to transform the green areas of schools into open-air laboratories where children and adults can experience a daily relationship with nature.

The webinar is as well an invitation to learn observing our surrounding world with new eyes.

Which potential connections between natural elements and recycling materials?

We will investigate the infinite characteristics of the trees through:

– the collection and cataloging of fragments;

– their observation through different tools and materials;

– listening to and investigating the different formal qualities of trees, such as trunk, bark, branches, leaves;

– representation through different languages and materials.

Each session includes a practical part that will be done live together. Each participant will be sent a list of materials to be used during the sessions in order to carry out the practical part, which will be an invitation to explore trees to imagine, represent and listen to.
