Introduction to Free Trade Agreements (FTA) for the Health Supplements Industry
Singapore has a network of 28 FTAs (and counting) which provide a range of economic benefits to businesses across multiple sectors, making them more competitive. Exporters and manufacturers in the Health Supplements Industry stand to enjoy a myriad of benefits like tariff elimination or reduction and protection of intellectual property rights.
FTAs also help to eliminate any regulatory concerns when businesses enter a new market as many FTAs contain provisions that promote regulatory cooperation. Businesses can gain preferential treatment when selling goods.
