Known for her warm tone and expressive phrasing, she brings both intimacy and energy to the stage—delivering classics and fresh interpretations in English, Chinese, French, and Portuguese.

Sarah Chew is a jazz vocalist and pianist from Singapore, known for her expressive tone, dynamic improvisation, and multilingual versatility. An alumna of the Esplanade’s Mosaic Jazz Fellows program, she has graced stages at the Mosaic Jazz Festival, the Singapore Night Festival, the Singapore Festival of the Arts, Jeremy Monteiro’s Jazzy Christmas (2021), and BNY presents Jazz Live! (2022) with the Yoko Suzuki Quartet in partnership with MCG Jazz.

December 5 and 6: Sarah Chew

Nancy Ponto is a renowned Indonesian smooth jazz saxophonist known for her lyrical melodies, emotional depth, and seamless blend of traditional jazz with modern smooth jazz, pop, and R&B influences. Inspired by legends like John Coltrane and Miles Davis, she captivates audiences with her expressive performances and velvety sound, creating an atmosphere of calm and connection. Her distinctive style and heartfelt
storytelling have made her a standout figure in Indonesia's jazz scene.
