About Jurong Island Innovation Challenge (JIIC) 2021
An initiative by Enterprise Singapore (ESG) and JTC , we are calling for startups and SMEs to tackle challenges faced by Jurong Island companies and the broader energy and chemicals industry in the areas of energy management, emissions reduction, water management, and waste management.
In line with efforts under the Singapore Green Plan 2030 to develop Jurong Island into a sustainable energy and chemicals park, this initiative aims to enable innovators to collaborate, co-develop and pilot novel solutions with Jurong Island companies.
The JIIC is a follow-up to the Jurong Island Circular Economy (JICE) Study that JTC embarked on in 2019 with 51 Jurong Island companies, and with the support of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Economic Development Board (EDB), Energy Market Authority (EMA), National Environment Agency (NEA) and National Water Agency (PUB).
