Description
In this workshop, learn how you can preserve your travel moments while on the go and after you're home through interesting layouts and storytelling techniques along with plenty of tips and techniques to help you document your travels in a modern, fresh and fun way. A travel journal will hold some of the best memories in your life, even more than any other souvenir you bring back which you can look back on fondly and share with others.
Please bring photos (preferably polaroid or name card size), travel paraphernalia such as maps, tickets, flyers, brochures, name cards or any other travel documents you may have acquired during your travels or from everyday life. I will also share my must-haves during travel, journaling essentials and how to pack light.

About the Instructor:
Szetoo Weiwen is a self-taught illustrator specialising in food and daily musings. She was previously a wedding and event photographer, a travel journalist, a copywriter, a catering manager and ran a vegetarian blog called Eat-Light Asia. Having always loved food culture, Szetoo also co-wrote a book on Malaysian food and the stories behind them called The Food That Makes Us along with Limei Foong whom she met while waitressing at the age of 17. Today she teaches art workshops and runs a quaint little stationery store called Stickerrific located in the heart of Petaling Jaya.
