About the programme
Please note that one ticket admits one parent-child pair.
“Paper has more patience than people,” Anne Frank said in her journal. When you write in a journal, you slow down and pay attention to the world. You can hear the breathings of your heart and understand the right path for you. Learn to use journaling to organize thoughts, set goals and priorities, develop courage and confidence, and good habits for your overall well-being. A journal can help in controlling the clutter in your head. It can spark creativity and help you tackle any problem that comes your way. All that you need is within you, but it is silenced by the noises around you and inside you- but journaling can help in bringing it out.
A sharing session will be held towards the end of the workshop for parents and their children to share their thoughts and experiences about journaling with each other, and with other participating families. Some basic writing materials will be provided. Participants may bring their own journals, supplementary writing materials and scrapbooking stationery if they wish. They will also receive a handout containing journaling prompts after the programme.
This programme is for parents and their children 13 years old and above.
