Learn how to support someone in emotional crisis.

All talks are held in our Main Shrine Hall (Level 1), except for 7 June which will be held in Classroom 303 (Level 3).

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to attend all the talks?

No, each talk is standalone and explores a different theme. You're welcome to attend just one, or as many as you'd like. The talks are designed to be meaningful whether you’re new or returning.

I’m not a Buddhist. Can I still attend?

Absolutely. This series is open to anyone interested in Buddhist perspectives on life — regardless of your background or experience. Many attendees come simply out of curiosity or interest in mindfulness and personal growth.

Do I need to register separately for each talk?

Nope! You only need to register once. Just select the talk(s) you’re attending from the ticket options during checkout.

Is there a dress code?

There’s no strict dress code, but we encourage attendees to dress modestly and respectfully, as the lectures are held in a Buddhist shrine hall.

What language are the talks conducted in?

All talks in the April series of Discovering Dharma are conducted in English.

Where exactly is the venue?

All lectures take place at: BW Monastery Grand Shrine Hall (Level 1) ? 1 Woodlands Drive 16, Singapore 737764 The venue is about 10–15 minutes from Woodlands MRT by bus or car.

Will the talks be recorded or livestreamed?

This series is designed for in-person participation only, to preserve the immersive and reflective atmosphere.
