Come join Singapore's first-ever walk to celebrate Assistance Dogs and their life-changing partnerships with their disabled handlers!

WHO IS K9 ASSISTANCE? K9Assistance (Limited) was founded in April 2020 to promote the acceptance and use of Assistance Dogs for Persons with Disabilities in Singapore. We want to empower the lives of the disabled through Assistance Dogs, and establish ourselves as the go-to resource on Assistance Dogs in Singapore. WHAT IS THE EMPAWER WALK? To celebrate our third anniversary, we will be holding an inaugural fundraising event, the ‘K9 Empawer Walk 2023’! Gather your colleagues, friends, family, and even your pets to join us for this 5km walk as we commemorate the partnership between human and dogs. DETAILS OF THE EMPAWER WALK The 5KM walk will start at The Promontory @ Marina Bay, on Monday 3 April, 8pm. We will make our way along the waterfront, strolling through the spectacular scenery and enjoying the city lights. The walk should take no more than one and a half hours. As this is an outdoor walk, feel free to bring your pets along! We do seek your understanding in ensuring that your pets are comfortable in being around large groups of people and other animals. We will also be joined by our Guest of Honour Dr William Wan, the General Secretary of the Singapore Kindness Movement. Every ticket further entitles you to an adorable goodie bag, which includes a tote bag, a pen and refreshment! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting our mission to empower Persons with Disabilities with different types of Assistance Dogs besides Seeing-Eye Dogs for the Blind. Whilst the onset of wet weather may result in the canceling of the event, we seek your kind understanding that the funds raised will continue to be channeled towards the organization's vision of bringing about a more empowering culture for Persons with Disabilities and their future Assistance Dogs in Singapore.
